Privacy policy

Last updated: September 4, 2026. This policy covers the douladayapp.com website and the request form published on it.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data described here is MLJ, SASU, a company registered in Paris, France under SIREN 934 769 837, publisher of DoulaDay. The publication director is Jimenez Julien. You can reach the controller at any time at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com, and that address is monitored by a person, not by an automated ticketing queue.

What this website collects

This website has no account area, no login and no shopping basket. The only place where personal data is deliberately collected is the request form in the contact section of the home page. When you complete and send that form, the following named fields are transmitted and stored:

Please do not include client names, medical information, addresses or any other third party personal data in the message field. If you need to discuss a specific client situation, describe it in general terms and we will arrange a suitable channel.

Legal basis for processing

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, the legal basis for handling your form submission is your consent, given by ticking the consent box, together with the legitimate interest of MLJ, SASU in responding to commercial enquiries about its own products. Where you ask for a quote or a demonstration, processing is also necessary in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place lawfully.

Who processes the data

Submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which hosts this website and operates the form handling service. Netlify acts as a processor on behalf of MLJ, SASU under its data processing terms. Replies are sent from an email account operated by MLJ, SASU. No other processor, agency, advertising network or data broker receives your submission, and your details are never sold, rented, exchanged or used to build a marketing list.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets no advertising cookies, no third party analytics cookies and no cross site tracking pixels. There is no Google Analytics tag, no advertising remarketing tag and no social media tracking script on any page. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request as part of serving the font files; if you would rather avoid that, a browser extension that blocks external font loading will not break the layout, since a full local fallback stack is declared. Netlify keeps standard server access logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and abuse prevention.

How long submissions are kept

Form submissions are retained for twenty four months from the date you send them, so that we can pick up a conversation that pauses over a busy season. After that period they are deleted from the form store and from the mailbox. If you ask us to delete your submission sooner, we do it within thirty days and confirm by email. Server access logs kept by the host are retained on the host's own rolling schedule, which is measured in weeks rather than years.

International transfers

MLJ, SASU is established in France and the hosting provider is established in the United States, so data sent through this form is transferred to and stored in the United States. Netlify offers standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for such transfers, and those clauses form part of the contract between MLJ, SASU and Netlify. If you would prefer not to have your details transferred, write directly to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com instead of using the form.

Your rights under US state privacy laws

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, the right to access a copy of it, the right to have it corrected, and the right to have it deleted. You may also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, although no sale, sharing or targeted advertising takes place here. California residents additionally have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights, and may designate an authorized agent to act on their behalf. We do not process sensitive personal information through this website and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal effects.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability, plus the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, which in France is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes.

How to exercise your rights

Write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com from the address you used on the form, state what you want and we will respond within thirty days. Most access and deletion requests are handled the same week. We may ask one clarifying question to locate the right record, and we will not ask for identity documents for a simple deletion request.

Children's privacy

DoulaDay is a business tool sold to professional doulas and their practices. It is not directed at children, and this website is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us information through this form, write to us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

Pages are served over HTTPS with strict transport security, and the site sets content type, referrer and framing protections. Access to form submissions is limited to the publication director. Should a data breach affect your information and present a risk to your rights, you will be notified without undue delay along with the supervisory authority where required.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new last updated date. Material changes affecting how existing submissions are handled are announced by email to the affected addresses. The current version is the one dated September 4, 2026.
